PCGS did issue a label with the grade noted. They opened up the custom Capital Plastic holder, and placed the label on reverse side, but I did not take a picture of it at the time. That being said, the piece was never inside a PCGS holder, so it doesn't appear in the Pop Report.

It seems like some of these were treated differently.
The ex-CRO MS64 specimen was not encapsulated, but it has a TrueView and is in the pops with a photocertificate.
On the silver libertas medal there are less then 25 known. Only 12 are in PCGS holders with MS 64 being the highest grade. A nice MS62 might fetch 135K

This one was graded by PCGS as MS65 (and mentioned in PCGSCoinFacts), but PCGS did not have a holder to encapsulate it at that time:

Perhaps large size medals were done on an ad hoc basis back then?
Will you submit it for slabbing now that the large holders are available?
