Left out a zero he says? One might think op would have looped him in on this thread too?
This is not a series I have spent much time collecting. I only have two $2.5 Indian type coins (1 slabbed and 1 in a 7070) in my entire collection. What is the expected BIN amount for this year $2.5 in this condition?

The seller lost his 100% feedback - so the neg MUST sting. I find it difficult to believe the seller's communications, so this neg was probably justified.
The Golden Rule: Those with the gold make the rules.
Many ebay sellers have low profits on individual sales, when they sell profitable items they make up for the slim profits. Probably that small antique seller figured that giving away yet another item, vs. getting the negative was necessary.

Let me know when the coin is back up with a BIN.
My bet is that it was already sold to the Rat who told the seller what he had. He made a better offer and that is why the seller canceled the order. The op offered to tell anyone in a PM who that dealer was, Did anyone take him up on that offer?

Not me. I got my head bit off and had to properly apologize, publicly just to keep the peace which appears to be an all out war between the minds of those who don't matter. And in the end, it still ain't no skin off my nose. However I paid nearly ten grand for mine at Stacks & Bowers. It's the truth.

Maybe he meant to list it for $32,4950.00 that would be more in line with the outrageous BIN prices on eBay.

It's too bad that you weren't able to get a deal; surely he didn't pay any premium for that coin.

Sellers still at 99.6% so it's not affecting him at all.

On any chat forum, you want to stay clear of any blame whatsoever.
That's why I never post a cherrypick (my own or someone else's) until weeks after the actual sale date.
I do believe the OP failed to apply some common sense here.

I'm interested in picking it up too if it goes back on sale. It would fit into my toned Indian set... if it grades. I still think it's cleaned though.
