So, I get a message about a card and it says

"How’s the condition of the card look? I’d be getting it graded and if it doesn’t grade 9.5 then I’d return it..."

So, this guy wants me to assess whether or not Beckett or whoever grades the card will grade it 9.5 and if they dont, he will return the card after wasting my time and money and then probably filing a SNAD on it.

After a comment like that, i'd block that ebay i.d. from ever buying anything from me if i were in your shoes.

In any eBay related post with a shady buyer or seller, I think it would help if that individual’s eBay ID was always included in the OP of the thread. I think it’s beneficial to everyone and will save follow up posts asking for it so that they can be blocked by everyone. This isn’t meant to disrespect MTCards or anyone in particular.

By what grade did you describe the card in your ebay ad?
Nr Mint? Mint? Mint ++? flawless? gem?
This description might have set the expectation of the buyer and if it did not achieve that grade - its on you?
Just a thought ....

As for the description, I generally list all modern cards as "Nr Mint or better", but feel that the card in question is about a 75% shot at a 9.5 BGS. I dont want to overhype or under hype the condition.

Just for clarity: the listing states "All cards are Nr-Mt or Better "
