To rip or not to rip????

I haven't ripped any boxes in a couple of years, unless you include a blaster box or two picked up at Walmart here or there. I picked up a box of 2004 Topps Tribute HOF cut signature hobby from BBCE on the black Friday deal, just under $300. As with most boxes, the odds of pulling something amazing is probably pretty slim but I've had a few drinks, the wife and daughter are out of town and my birthday starts at midnight. So, do I take the risk and rip away or leave it sealed. Heading out for a bit and YOUR opinions will be the deciding factor! If I rip, I will post scans to the thread. Thanks!

    Drinks are consumed. Wife and Daughter gone. Home alone. More drinks are available. Sir there is no other better time than now.
    When i find myself in similar situations, it's rip time without care of consequences. It's what the box was brought in to this world for. Now you might not want to go as far as me in those situations, where multiple drinks are in, I paint my face like an Indian Warrior, strip down to boxers and socks, blast some hard core music, light 3 different smelling candles, and utter voodoo chants in between songs, right before I rip. That practice doesn't seem to work all the time in ensuring positive rip results. I just like to do it.

    Gotta rip it before it's too late and the freedom is gone again.

    The biggest lesson I've learned in this hobby, and in life, is that if you have a strong conviction, you owe it to yourself to see it through. Don't sell yourself, or your investments, short. Unless the facts change. Then sell it all.
