Hard to find common coins

I'm working on an English gold sovereign type set (one each of each of the obverses since 1817) and the one sovereign I can't seem to locate is the uncirculated QE2 second portrait (approx. 1974-1982). The old ones were remarkably easy to find, the new ones were slightly harder (except QE2 portraits 4 and 5 which are fairly new), but second portraits are eluding me.
Going to start a half sovereign type set next, looks even more challenging.

Apmex has only had everything but this date range. Chard is quite a bit pricey for what is essentially bullion. My local dealer doesn't keep QE2's in stock but ships them out as soon as they come in.

I believe when you do find them that it may be in roll quantities....I had seen so many over the years that I stopped paying attention, and in particular the first and last dates in that range.

Raw. Unfortunately the Queens beast set has tickled my fancy as well, collecting the 1/4 gold and 2 oz silvers.
I was considering QEII, but limited my focus to pre-1933. I've seen them at shows recently.
A bit overpriced, but shipping costs add up.

Ever order anything from Bullion by Post? They now have a US website. A bit on the high side but not terrible.
I've been trying to buy a few things from them for years and they would not ship to the US. I provided alternatives such as sending them to another dealer in the UK, but they refused. I'd have to find something I really like before dealing with them. I have ordered from Chards and have been satisfied with them - although a bit high for raw coins. I did manage to pick up a few that if auctioned after grading - was well worth the price.
