Monster meaning attractive vivid multicolors on a circulated coin?
Such toning will generally be secondary following a cleaning. Not always, but often. Not necessarily a bad thing tho

I've always thought of my 1817/3 PCGS 58 as having really nice toning for a Bust Half.....Monster toning though is subjective

Buffalo Historical Society auction coins (2004?). The late 18th century and early 19th century circ type coins were often abrasively cleaned decades earlier, then placed back in an album. They toned back with vivid blues, greens, reds, etc. Many of them ended up in graded holders. I recall a well circulated 1794/1795 half dime (F-XF?) that had wonderful peripheral toning...under obviously cleaned/overly bright surfaces. Couldn't believe it actually graded out.

I get a kick out of the PCI "100 % White" or "90 % white" coins that are fully enveloped in toning from the holder.
