My first big purchase since the National

I've been looking for a 7, but when this one appeared I knew I had to have it. Its centering, color and focus hit my eye just right, far better than many of the 7's out there (and I can live with the corners). Not to mention, it saved me ~$1K compared to the PSA 7 price.

I also picked up these two recently:

This is going to sound weird, but, the back of that card really stands out. Don't get me wrong, I agree that the front is a blazer with great color and perfect centering but I don't remember ever seeing the back of a card from that era with such vivid color and contrast. Great pickup.

Love that Robinson. Great find - agree with the commenter that the back really stands out. Makes it seem like it just came out of a pack.

Beautiful cards...thought about you this weekend. 3rd Saturday in October

I'd rather forget the 3rd Saturday in October (actually, the last 11 3rd Saturdays in October!)

I'd much prefer to focus on the 4th Tuesday of October, the day my Dodgers play their first World Series game in 29 years!
