Alas, I do not have any pictures to post, but many years ago (1996) I bought an absolutely gorgeous 1853-O No Arrows V1 half dime, the key to the series, in what was then PCGS AU-50 grade, from Alpine Coin. The coin is absolutely stunning, and typical of the coins which were offered by Dave Olmstead at Alpine Coins. Dave was accommodating enough to accept a trade for the coin, for which I offered a total of thirty-one (31) Liberty Seated quarters in attractive EF-AU grades, plus a F-12 example of the 1853-O No Arrows V1 half dime. It was, at least to me, perhaps the best trade deal I had ever made. Others who have seen the newly acquired 1853-O V1 are convinced that it is seriously undergraded, particularly by today's standards, and closer to a mint state grade. Noted Liberty Seated expert, the late Jim O'Donnell, repeatedly offered to purchase the coin, and stated that it was superior to an MS-61 example that he had. I miss the great coins and the knowledgeable discussions I always had with Dave before he retired.
They that can give up essential Liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither Liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin
I agree with @MrHalfDime that I miss the great coins and the knowledgeable discussions I always had with Dave Olmstead of Alpine Numismatics before he retired.
He offered Top Quality Coins with the highest Eye Appeal for affordable prices. Dave had a superb eye for selecting quality coins like this one...

I don't still have it but I bought a 1904 $5 from him a LONG time ago as an unc. and boy, was it nice.
I eventually sent it to PCGS and they gave it a 64. I sold it also a LONG time ago....when 64s were kind of a big deal...
I also remember a very nice 1808 1/2c I bought from him.
He always had quality stuff.
Wow, I really miss doing business with Dave at Alpine. I must still have 20 or 30 coins bought from him. I used to check his website basically every day.

Dave always had great coins. I have a bunch of Dimes that I got from him. Just not where I can post pics. Wrong computer.
Most are Barber Dimes if you want to look thru my set and find them.
