I can't seem to figure why the top end of the S looks doubled or not finished unless it has a bit of machine doubling maybe or it isn't damage Andy info is greatful

Photo not sharp enough. Probably just damaged. or "micro" strike doubled. Nothing special. Keep looking and good luck!

What I suggest you do is to put away your microscope for just a short time and study the mint error websites on the internet.
