    A few years ago, I took a flyer on a 1796 10c in FR02 out of a Heritage sale.

    Chagrined at the CAC fail, I suggested a down-grade. I was gently offered lunch and an eye-test.

    I later heard it was cracked from the holder, carried around in the new owner's pocket for a month, and then stickered as PO01. :*

    @Goldbully, I'm surprised that doesn't have a gold bean as it looks undergraded to me. Not that it matters when there are such spectacular colors, and especially for a Peace Dollar!

    I would think that you would want a copy of your submission form to CAC showing that the coin had been submitte but did not sticker.

    I owned a 1956 or 1956-D (I think ?) Lincoln in 65RD with CAC.
    Go figure????????
    Maybe not the lowest grade but likely the lowest value coin.
    I sold it, so don't have it any longer.
    I have no idea why it was submitted. Even with a gold sticker, it's a yawner.

    @CCDollar ...I literally just spent 20 min searching my submissions to find my lowest CAC coin...but it's now your coin...I guess it was you whom bought it from me on the bay...so at least you don't have to take credit for the $12.50 CAC fee...but I made her @ PCGS and sent her to Jersey prior to the fee hikes at both institutions...so that makes me the numbest here on the boards back then by far ;)

    It's my birthday but it's your coin...Nice Coin and I'm gonna go find my next lowest one ;)
