Fake Trade Dollar

Did you know that PCGS couldn't determine if this coin is a fake or not?

I'm not familiar with the "We don't know" holder, and it appears to be invisible, too.

    Thanks for making my mistaken post relevant.

    That's one rare trade dollar, probably rarer than the 1884 but not quite as rare as the 1885, and about one ten thousandth the price. Maybe 5-10 known?

    No genuine $3s issued for the bank, only $1, $2 and $5. My spurious $3 was indicated as an R5 (10 to 25 known) by Wait in 1976.
