Surprise Submission Result: 1952 Topps Ginsberg PSA 9 1/2

Just received results from my 15 card membership submission. Among the cards was a nice 1952 Topps Myron Ginsberg that I have had for quite some time. Was graded PSA 9 MINT and is also only the second graded that high with no 10s. Pretty excited about this card!

The title of your post had me freak out for a second. I read it as PSA 9.5 not one of two. :o

    Congrats on a fantastic card.

The biggest lesson I've learned in this hobby, and in life, is that if you have a strong conviction, you owe it to yourself to see it through. Don't sell yourself, or your investments, short. Unless the facts change. Then sell it all.

Thanks everyone. I have probably submitted about 20 1952 Topps cards over the years, mostly purchased back in the 1990s. Never received a 9 before. I have got a couple 8s and quite a few 6s & 7s. Never a 9 before this. 52 Topps are such beautiful cards, just so expensive and tough to collect in high grade. My set is mostly 6s and 7s and about 25% complete...low numbers only. Sorry so many got their hopes up that maybe PSA had added a .5 to the 9 grade :) !!

I would put that in a major auction house, and use the proceeds to buy a really nice 8,
and have money left over to buy some stars for your 1952 set....
