Does Coast to Coast ever lower prices if a coin has been in inventory for a long time?

Anyone get anything of real high quality from them? Or is it almost always maxed out coins at pretty high prices?

Not on ones I followed and tries to negotiate with them.
    $2000+ coins.

They also had them on eBay for same price and I tries to meet in the middle....give them more than they would get from eBay but still pay less than the list price.

I watched a coin for almost a year...price on site as well as eBay was never lowered, that I saw.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I've bought several coins from them recently. I just called them up asked them if they could do any better than the listed price. I got anywhere from $30 to $75 off per coin. Not a big deal on coins priced between $1200 and $1600 but what the heck, it was something.

I don't recall a handy, "Price reduced" category on the site....But maybe I missed it.

Things I have been interested in don't tend to lie around for TOO long, either. Big inventory, but I think they have a lot of people poking through the pickings, too.

You're probably better off making your offer sooner rather than later, and hoping for a steeper discount on a coin that gets sold out from under you.....

They will negotiate for a check, no PayPal or credit card.

I've been tracking coins of interest to me in their inventory for a while, and have made an observation over the last 18 months... they have a coin in 62 CAC that is PQ listed at 25% above retail...hard to touch (cause they can be had for less). 9 months later that coin is in a 63 non CAC holder for even a higher price, and still sits there. I've see some of their 62 CAC coins become MS64's. Same coin, price goes up 1.5x-2x. They still have them in inventory. So...my hypothesis is the their CAC coins are pretty nice, but also above price points of commensurate CAC coins, and then they max them out and lose the CAC sticker, but they are now in a 1-2 points graded higher holder and are "product." Your experiences might vary but that's what I've observed fairly consistently...
