I like the designs on the BWA coins, probably because I like coins with holes in the middle (as minted). I also like that it is one of the few Ed8s.

Thanks all. I know nothing about the BWA other than the exceptional eye appeal. I really buy these with no real discipline.

Well they're quite easy to locate in high grades, but I've never ever seen any other toned like this, it's absolutely wonderful.

I've once let myself go completely in the pursuit of eye poppers, unrelated to my main collection. As much as I loved them, and loved their cost-eye appeal ratio, I often found myself lacking part of the funds I needed for an important upcoming purchase. I was partly able to flip them over quick enough, but several of them have remained in my heart.

Dimitri - you hit it on the head. I feel like a fisherman who once gets the fish throws them back to the water. Always nice to handle even if for a short while

Both are beautiful, but the 1/2P is truly special. That coin was on eBay for a very long time; I came across it many times, but I always felt it didn't quite fit in my collection. I've never seen another like it...

I like that the British West Africa 1/2d is from the reign of Edward VIII... All three coins are terrific

Nice coins! I do like the 1969 Lira coin very much.
