    Wow, very nice 8 escudos. Very good acquisition for any gold coin collection!!
    These are probably the most demanded Spanish coins all around the world.

    From Santa Fe de Nuevo Reino there are two variants of 1769: the "J" essayer and the "JV" essayers. The second is even more scarce than the first one.

    Sometime it would be a fun theme in coin collecting, the Inbreeding Collection of Various Deformities Portraited on Coinage. The Ratnose, the Habsburg Lip etc.
