Anyone see the HA auction for 57 Starr PSA 9?

$288,000!!! That has to be a record, Wow, I've always said I wish I was born rich instead of good looking.

Yeah I saw that. I never would have guessed it would fetch near that amount. Just a matter of time before people start claiming the auction is not legit for various reasons but the prices will continue to confound the doubters. When you are a hedge fund manager, sports team owner, CEO of a major corporation making multiple millions every year, this amount of money is meaningless and they can hardly wait to brag about it at the next cocktail party for the elite.

Normally I'd say the seller lost there butt with the 19.5% buyer protection.
But with HA I'm guessing they just won it back and you will see it up for auction again in the near future.
They purchased it for 300k on 10/30
Goldin has a Bart Star PSA 8 up now. Its at 6k now
But they have a eye popping list of card in HIGH-END. This is one of those DEEP POCKET auctions!!!!
Who said the market is declining?????? Did or is not watching this one.

Not so sure. Fact is there are some recycled "expensive" cards on the auction circuit that never get truly sold.

and there are a lot that do.
the conversation is a zero sum game.
Post a pic of yourself or good looking never happened.
LOL OK, so I'm 0 for 2.
It says the owner of this Item has been actively participating in the Make Offer to Owner program.
"Our Auction Results Archives now allow our members to make anonymous offers on items that may not be auctioned again for some time. Please note that the winner of this Heritage auction lot may or may not still own this item and has the option to counter or reject the offer."

It seem they have a lot of "anything goes" rules that make it pretty much impossible to not let the seller get the price he wants or it doesn't sell. Oh and by the way, if a shill wins, no penalty or buyer's premium. They do have a lot of very nice items. It seem all major sellers have a house advantage of some kind. Let's face it. Some just seem to want to to focus negatively on the one consignor who is trying to set some ground rules recently.
Agree. Initially I wanted to stare at a 288k Bart Starr card in a lecherous manner, but now I just want to see how hot you are.
you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
