Box for First PCGS Submission

TetromibiTetromibi Posts: 947 ✭✭✭✭✭

I ordered the boxes from PCGS. Does anybody just use these for shipping?

I plan on using USPS Express mail. I know they suggest registered, but I'm fine with the risk and this should speed the process up a little bit. Is there an express mail envelope that will fit the PCGS box?

If you use express or priority mail, how do you submit your coins?

The Medium Flat Rate USPS box should be big enough for a PCGS coin box or two. I would NOT use an express mail envelope. Priority mail is fine with signature confirmation and insurance. Registered mail will give you most $$$ coverage, but man are they slow at getting around due to the security involved.

I have used registered a few times for some higher dollar coins, but for normally I use a small flat rate box, with signature confirmation and insurance...or wait for the closest show with a PCGS presence.
