That's some kind of privately made/repurposed holder.
The cent I assume we have seen in PC plastic, I'm loving the nickel too.
The inside border of the heat sink for each compartment on the genuine Mint cellophane for Mint and Proof sets had rounded (radiused) corners. Not so with the above.

Can celllophane be stickered?
The coins look nice, who cares if they are an original set ? You are probably going to send them in for grading, so they are going to be taken out anyway.
Very cool, nice looking set. I wholeheartedly agree with the consensus of the other thread that this is aftermarket packaging. The tells for me are the looseness of the cellophane and the non-rounded corners as @coindeuce noted above.
Awesome set bud!!! Great eye appeal not to mention I LOVE proof sets
Never have seen a flat pack for the 1950 proof set. It is some type of aftermarket issue, I am 99% sure of it. Early fifties proof were issued in boxes and each coin had its own individual cello packet and all were stapled together. Nice set and I like the cent, looks like it has good color.
I like the cent too but I think I like the nickel even more!
Aftermarket packaging at a later time. Very attractive set

If the price was right, I like it
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
I'm digging the cent and the nickel

They need be cut out of that asap to avoid pvc damage, be evaluated, conserved if need be, sent in for grading, marketed.
Any markings on who packaged them?
Private repackaging.
Get them all PCGS graded and TrueView Photo'd ... then lay them out digitally like this.

Love that layout @WingedLiberty1957 !
I recall seeing advertisements in the 1960s for devices that could create this type of packaging for mint sets and proof sets. Not sure what type of plastic was included for the holders.
