Wide. You can tell because the A isn't close to the m at all. With the close variety they're almost touching or are touching, can't remember which one.

Welcome to school! I say school because you'll be taught in many areas other than in coins. You'll be taught in ethics, manners and in business. Your question is a wise one. I see you're into varieties. Cool. So am I and many others here on the Forum. Remember, always to post often and don't be a stranger. and the most importantly, have FUN! Yes, Like mentioned, The normal (non- variety) is always the Wide separation between the A and M in America. The elusive variety is called, " The Close A.M. This Variety is highly sought after. Myself included! If one finds this Variety, the P or D, you will strike it rich, so to speak. Were talking in a good condition as oppose to a great condition, Big Bucks!$$$$$$ Check the PCGS Price Guide. Good Luck in hunting for the real deal. Once again, Welcome to our Forum.-joey
