Major Varieties (Red Book) attribution - no fee required, how to indicate the attribution request

I pinged PCGS Customer Service last week (07 Feb) about having a major variety attributed, but have yet to receive an answer. I know that a call should be made, but I am cooped up in a room without phone service and by the time I get back to the house, other things seem to take up my time.
Sir/Ma'am,
I am preparing to send in five coins for reholder/variety attribution and one of the coins is a Major Variety 1849/8 H10C (PCGS #:4343). I understand that if the coin is a Major Variety that the $18 fee is not required, whereas Minor or Die Varieties require the $18 attribution fee. How would I indicate on the on-line submission form that I am requesting the Major Variety be added during the Secure Plus reholder submission? I have tentatively indicated in the note section for the particular item number [PCGS #: 4343 1849/8], but I want to ensure that it gets attributed and not overlooked. This happened previously on a different coin only to be sent back to PCGS to have the attribution added.
Thanking you in advance,

I have been frustrated by this as well. I wanted an unattributed PCGS 1909 vdb which was a DDO#1 with just Doubled Die Obverse. Like you I indicated the correct PCGS # on the form, but when the reholder occurred they failed to put it on the coin. Luckily, I called immediately, and had them correct this. Moving forward what I have done was put things like Doubled Die Obverse or whatever the variety will show on the holder for a major variety, and left the attribution fee unchecked. This will either result in two things. 1.) Upon intake the representative will call you stating you need to pay for the additional fee, at which point you can clarify that you just want the major variety noted, 2.) they will recognize the attribution and send this through. Without putting something in the variety field it's highly likely this will go unnoticed by them in my experience.
Hope this helps!
You have to choice either send it in with the correct number and description or wait forever for a response to your e-mail
IF it has a PCGS # I'm pretty sure you will not be charged. Just submit it under the correct PCGS number.
Edit to add...I just looked at the numbers and I am certain you will not be charged!
I have an 1878 VAM 44. Where can I find the PCGS
number for this coin? I looked in the POP report
and CoinFacts. Thanks in advance. Tibor
