1969-71 Set Builders: Difference between NM7 and EXMT6 Star Cards

I'm completing the following Topps baseball sets 1969-71, and I'm going PSA on the stars. Considering these cards, would you spend the extra cash on NM7 cards vs EXMT 6 to boost the condition of the set, or do you think the difference is unimportant?

Is it worth the effort and extra cost?

    For that era I'm all about presentation with the key being centering. I buy PSA 5 and 6 all the time that present incredibly well in Ultra Pro sleeves in a UniKeep binders. I'll try to post some pics tonight.

    It is worth it to some, not to others. But generally, I would try to find a nice looking (centered) copy of the cards that fit uniformly with your set. I have found it to be more difficult to sell a set when it is not uniform. Having psa 7 stars, and the commons are more like 5-6, or the opposite, having the commons being a grade or 2 higher than the stars ends up making you sell the set for less than what is worth, typically, at least that has been my experience.

    I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid.

    Thanks for the replies. On a related note how are you integrating the graded cards with your sets? I notice there are no graded card pages anymore (although some dude is selling 10 pages for $200 online).

    I know of one person using postcard pages and putting the cards in bags first before putting them in the pages and that seems to work. Anybody else have any other ideas to display graded sets in binders?
