Actually bought a new coin

I've been away from collecting for a few months, busy getting a new business up and running. However I did see this one come up a Heritage and bought it to upgrade my set. 1812 BoE 1 Shilling 6 Pence Token, Cuirassed Bust, NGC 66. It actually looks much better in hand than the pics, almost PL on the obverse and the reverse with very light mauve toning.

As an aside, I read (too) early this morning about a draft abdication letter from G3. That article then talks about other G3 letters in archives, and how he was one of the most informed GB monarchs concerning foreign affairs, despite his reputation. The article closes by mentioning an upcoming documentary about G3.
