A much overdue thank you to board members and PCGS, and a brief OT about me **Update in 1st Post**

Update.
This past Monday I was scheduled to have a biopsy of a large mass on my prostate. This mass was confirmed by two different doctors during two different exams. During the ultrasound to confirm the location, it had vanished. It was completely gone. I firmly believe in the power of prayer and what it can do. I could go on and on, but this is not the place. Just a heartfelt thank you to all for the messages and PM's from everybody here.
Wes

I have been a member here for quite a few years. In that time I have "digitally" met more coin enthusiasts than I can count, and have had the pleasure of meeting many current and former members in persons at shows around the country. I have both purchased and sold coins to many of you for years and NEVER have had any problems doing so. Members here freely sharing their knowledge and expertise with both novice and advanced collectors is both admired and appreciated. I have gained much knowledge here, far more than I have given. PCGS has given so much to the collecting community, these boards, Coin Facts, price guides and online resources, all for free. PCGS doesn't have to do this, and it's a reflection on the character of the company. For this I thank you all.

Now, the not so pleasant. Some of you are aware that I have been fighting the big "C" for the last couple of years. On Monday I will have another procedure (I hate the word surgery) to see if and how much it has spread. Some of the blood work isn't promising, but I have a lot of faith in my doctors.

I know this is pretty much all off topic, but I really wanted all of you and PCGS to know how much you are appreciated.
Thank you!
Wes

I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.

    Wes,

Thank you for your contributions as well!
This forum is a great place to share and learn - a positive place and great resource.

Besides your posts on this forum and your great avatar image,
I have enjoyed your website on capped bust half dimes very much.
In fact, I just used it yesterday to attribute an 1831 on a thread here and made a link so the person could explore the attribution.
And I read your story of starting out in collecting again on your site last night.
Here's a link to your site, if people are not aware of it:
    everythinghalfdimes.com/

I am sorry to hear your bad news on the health side.
Hopefully you will have some good luck and get some more good years.
