I rotate coins out of the safety deposit box, never having more than 10% to 20% of it home at any one time. I enjoy looking at them at home while watching TV (well it's turned on anyway). About once a month, i go and look at all of them at the bank and then bring home a new selection.
I also try to have a display of coins for our annual coin club show. This is a lot of fun plotting out a theme and then laying out the display (this years display was "celebrating the coins of 1916)..

Mine are all close at hand and I look at them often, especially when there is not much excitement going on my own personal "coin space". I also have high quality images taken of them, most by crazyhounddog and robec gets most of the raw lincolns.
I always have one low value coin on my desk to play with, and the rest are in SDBs. I enjoy my collection via photographs on my website: Colosseo Collection

Actually what I have been buying for the last year or so are not my coins. Everything will go to my Grand Daughters in 10 to 15 years. I do enjoy getting a coin I have bought and always make sure it is worthy of the collection I am building. If it is not the coin will be sold off. Almost everything that has been purchased is from 1881 until 1934. Mostly Mercs, Indian Cents and Lincoln Cents. Most have been Raw, and I have got some really nice coins, with some Slabs which are just as cheap as Raw coins nowdays.
I study them, look for and catalog die varieties, try to put together "oddball" sets...stuff I can enjoy at home without fear of theft, etc.
Currently, (and I know this sounds really lame) I'm working on a BN unc./RB decently toned Lincoln set from 1959-present from roll searching and change. More challenging than it may sound, and each coin just costs me 1c.
Beyond that, a glass or three of scotch and some good music makes me able to enjoy virtually any coin.
I have a display cabinet for a lot my medals, a couple type set albums on hand and I've started working on photography so the majority of coins can stay in a more protected environment (Intercept storage + fireproof safe/SDB). Plus I'm working on binders for the random 'one from every country' remnants.
The big thing I've started doing is putting together a website to show off the pictures. The website is a combination of vanity and education, and is in it's late infancy.

Don't keep anything at home that you can't afford to lose. I just found out today that a friends son robbed our church, local restaurants, a dairy farm, and the town pumpkin patch among other things. I would have never guessed he was capable of doing that and his parents are devastated.
The local coin club has a show and tell as part of each meeting which makes it convenient to share a few items each month. Being the featured speaker a couple of times a year allows for a more extensive display.
I also like to have a collector to the bank for a viewing if they have time when traveling through town. It is always a blast getting to share.
My numismatic library allows me to enjoy the hobby hands on on a more regular basis. Books can be an every day enjoyment.
Q: When does a collector become a numismatist?
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
Good post. I enjoyed reading the comments. I look at photos of my coins and take some home from the bank once in awhile. I also research my coins and try to learn something new.
Nice! I just got confirmation that my check arrived at my last MA copper piece is "in the mail" and almost to me.
I decided to get one of them about 6 years ago...a "type" type of thing.
However, I later decided to complete the 4pc set. Last one is arriving and I am excited!
@Bochiman
I am jealous
How can you complete that 4 piece set before me ?
My family has lived in 'Massachusetts' since 1630 !!
just kidding.....congrats. ,
Before I collect a series, I read up on it and learn about how certain dates are rare with a good strike or original color , etc As I collect my series I will periodically take out the same books and admire
how I have assembled a collection that has original color, or is not marked up like most, or has a better than avg strike. I get satisfaction knowing that I have found truely difficult examples of each date.

Hi quality images. It's the best "new" thing that's happened in collecting.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

Mr. Spock has a point. Wanting may be better than having. But getting is better than wanting.

Nice to see yours!
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Now, for the OP's question.....THIS is how I enjoy my coins
