September Group Sub Update: Regular Size Poppage!

Now that the monthly special is back to $6 a card, I will be putting together a group sub if there is enough interest. I know we can get together on Special #1 and possibly Special #2. PM with interest and I will send details.

Jason ... doing a Tall Boy submission? I just piggybacked 20 cards on someone doing the show special this month. However, I have 1 1970 Topps Super and 2 1971 Topps Supers that I would like to submit. I may also have a couple of regular sized cards.

Did PSA tell you that for your first comment?

It's states right in the special details... "Regular size, Coins/Pins,Tallboys, Thick/Patch permitted, but each category must be on its own submission form, with its own return shipping fee."

Yeah Jason, it was too bad. However, considering all the injuries they had this year I was happy that they made it to the playoffs. Man, Bumgarner OWNS the post season. One of the best pitchers I have seen when it comes to the playoffs. WELL deserving of this win.

I was shooting for a few pop 1 10s...came up short, but definitely solid additions. I think everyone had their fair share of ups and downs with the results.

I thought the Tall Boys would pop well before the regular size! Keep your fingers crossed!

All of the 7's I thought would grade an 8. I'm surprised that none of them at least got a .5. The only card that graded
higher than my estimate was the Jordan as I expected an 8. As a 9 it's about a $100 card. I pulled this one from a 35cent
pack back in the day. The #702 min size is the 3rd time the card has got N6. I'm stumped because it measures up to all other 1970 cards. Overall nothing exciting but a few of the 1970 cards will help my registry set & I broke about even value wise thanks to the Jordan.

Most cards graded right about as I expected. A couple got 1 grade higher and a couple 1 grade lower. The obvious bummer was the SP Authentic Edgerrin James. This was a PSA 9 crackout that I thought had a great shot at a 10. I'll have to take another shot at it later on down the road.

Overall I'm happy with the results. Thanks for organizing!

The one that bums me out is the Campbell. This was the nicest one I have ever held in hand ungraded, easy 9 I thought. The other 3 I think are fair grades. They were cards I just wanted slabbed. Will probably use them for stocking stuffers this christmas. Cant wait to get that Campbell in hand to see what I missed.
