First Strike rules

It seems that a lot of people think you must send a sealed mint package to receive the First Strike designation label, but in reviewing the rules you can open your mint package and determine if you want to send the coins in as long as it meets the time frame allotted by PCGS.

And I'd also presume if you wanted a special label for a coin that was included in a special set that would have also been available elsewhere, you'd need to include it in the original unopened box to verify you didn't swap out the coin.

But that being said, what you have said is also true.

Sorry, guys -- every post that features "First Strike" or "Early Releases" makes me smile, then cringe. I might think differently if I were active in this market, but I REALLY prefer 200 year old copper. And fresh silver dollars. And double Mint sets. And... you get the idea. Real coins.
