Do You Think You Have What It Takes To Be The Next Numismatic Gladiator?

The first "Numismatic Gladiator" competition was a success and the second one even more so and on it goes. I want to thank everyone who participated by commenting and/or voting.
Because NG I - VII were so well received we want to continue the series. We are looking for two people who would be interested in competing in NG VIII. Please read the rules below before you express your interest.
RULES:
1. You will purchase a GERMAN STATES coin which can include provinces or tokens.
2. Gladiators may not spend more that $20 excluding postage/tax on their coin (but may spend less).
3. The coin must be purchased online and it must be listed for sale on an open and public website. This includes auction sites such as, but not limited to eBay or dealer web pages. Coins that are on sale of that you are able to buy at a discount are not eligible unless the original price was less than $20.
4. Gladiators MUST actually purchase their entry coin.
5. Gladiators will not be allowed to reveal which coin is theirs, except to The Directors (LordMarcovan and Aethelred) until after the voting has closed, this includes PMs, people who have already voted et cetera.
6. The Directors of "Numismatic Gladiator" will select two Gladiators from those who have applied, these Gladiators will remain anonymous except to The Directors until the close of voting.
7. Both The Gladiators and The Directors may vote (without revealing how they have voted) as they see fit in the poll.
8. Any and all disputes that arise will be settled by The Directors.
9. Both of The Directors must be in agreement before any decisions are made.
10. The winning Gladiator will receive an icon that they may display in their sig line.
If you agree to all of the above terms and would like to apply to become a Gladiator in NG VIII please express your interest by posting to this thread. If you are not selected as one of the two Gladiators this time, remember there will be future Numismatic Gladiator competitions.

Top 10 • FOR SALE
I will, if nobody else steps up. But I've already played twice. (Lost one, won one.)
I'm sure we've got somebody competent enough to cherrypick a cool German States coin for 20 bucks or less.
Probably several somebodies.
Highly enthusiastic about world coins, contemporary circulating counterfeits and unusual stuff
Let's give it 24 hours or so and see if anybody else posts.
If not, stay tuned for Aethelred to give the word "go" and start your shopping. When the shopping is completed, I'll ask whoever our two gladiators are to PM me links to their purchases, and provide any descriptions they want posted in the eventual poll thread.
Beam me up, Scotty
I've been meaning to get into one of these gladiator phases. Can't think of a more interesting one than German States... much affordable variety. Please do drop my name in the hat
Nessie and Dmitry:
Eald Deathlic Cyning (Ye Olde Deade Kinge) seems to have briefly gone Yeti on us, so I will take it upon myself to make an "executive decision" and give y'all the green light.
GO!!!
Make your purchases on eBay, please, preferably fixed price (BIN) or Best Offer rather than auction (though I suppose auction is OK if it ends at a reasonable time). See Aethelred's notes in the OP.
Edit: note that a clause in Aethelred's Item #3 in the original rules states:
And it seems by the letter of that law, you are NOT just limited to eBay, though with the exception of our original contest in NG1 in which he and I faced off with VCoins purchases, it's been all eBay items so far. As long as there is a sale page you can link me up to that I can in turn link to from the poll thread, we're OK, I guess.
You may spend up to $20 US actual price. Shipping fees are not counted, so don't worry about that.
When you have made your selections, PM a link to me of your items, and if you like, include any description (up to a short paragraph) that you would like included in the poll thread (what you liked about it, what influenced you to buy it, etc.)
Remember that we'll be relying on the sellers' photographs in the poll thread.
So... go forth and shop, and make us proud! Then come see me to be issued with your armor and swords and nets and tridents and stuff, and we'll see you in the Colosseum!
