State of the art circa 2007 Nokia flip phone here . Or technically the 9th or 10th replacement of same model purchased used off ebay . They are getting harder to find though
I can't imagine life without my phone. It is my lifeline to everything going on around me: news alerts, email, ebay etc. It's my map. It's my camera. It's my flashlight. It's my radio. Oh yeah, it's almost incidentally a telephone.
My mom got an iPhone when she turned 52 and she loves it. My dad got one when he turned 81. He loves taking pictures and FaceTiming during calls.
Work provides me with an Iphone and demands that I carry it 24/7. Other than answering pests who call, text, email me at all hours I never use it. If my employer didn't require it I wouldn't even have a landline let alone a cell phone. I HATE having to talk to anyone on a phone. I would rather (and have) drive an hour or two to speak in person.
Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.

I carry dimes in case I need to make a call
Maybe the 2 phone booths still in existence should take apple pay.
The only phone booth with a pay phone left in Iowa is about 7 miles from my house.
