    FS-801 would be the Fivaz-Stanton Number.

    Here is the breakdown:

    FS = Fivaz-Stanton the Authors of the Cherrypickers' Guide

    The first digit refers to the type of variety in this case it's an 8

    8 = Doubled Die Reverse

    The next two digits would be the order in which the variety was cataloged, in this case 01

    01 = First

    So FS-801 is the first Doubled Die Reverse cataloged for that date and mint mark.
