Camera question

Well, my Canon SX100 IS just bit the big one. Will not accept memory card(Memory Card Error). What is a fair priced $200-$300 camera that has macro lens to replace it. Opinions vary but all welcome. I searched canon powershot forums and did not get much in the way of useful advice.

    My Galaxy S6 cell phone takes amazing images. Hand-held, on the kitchen table, no special lighting.

    My iPhone4 takes pretty clear photos that are good enough for Ebay auctions and my Registry Set pictures.
    I love the 3 P's: PB&J, PBR and PCGS.

    Yep, seems like cellphones have replaced Point and Shoots pretty effectively. The quality is nowhere near what you get with a DSLR/MILC camera but it's good enough for eBay/insurance/etc shots.

    If you are looking for Canon digital cams., try POTN (Photography-on-the-net) for lots of info and discussions. They also have threads about Nikon, Sony, Leica, and other P&S cameras.

    DPReview.com (Digital Photography Review) also has tons of excellent digital camera info. and forums.

    I never thought that growing old would happen so fast.
