    I recently got back into stamps but may not stay for long. The market for all but true rarities (as in things APS exhibitors need for their exhibits) seems very, very weak. I acquired some duplicate items and attempted to sell ... offers were 5 to 10% of catalog and many were for "trade value only" not cash.
    All glory is fleeting.

    My office is a buyer for unused stamps at 50% of face value. A great way to save on postage costs.The stamp hobby indeed does look very very weak.

    I think the collectors died with the introduction of pre printed stickers for shipping a package.
    I am like oreville, i also buy unused mint stamps for postage
