possible fake PCGS slab on the bay

LINK

the slab doesn't look right to me. (4 circles) looks as though its snapped together
The cert # is for a non cameo and a standard holder.
The color of the cam looks funny

looks funny alright. Something you would expect with a much costlier coin.

Check out this other one he has listed

Maybe the topic should have read "Another" fake PCGS slab on the bay
Do they still use that newer secure hologram ? I thought it was for "secure" holders ?

Some of you posting here (cough -- derryb -- cough) clearly don't know much about historic slab styles...and...

The slab linked by the OP is 100% authentic, as is the coin...

Also, it doesn't show up as CAM in the PCGS cert look-up because someone typed in the coin number wrong as 6801 instead of 86801. The coin number is correct on the slab.

The DuPont Hologram PCGS slabs have four little circles around the coin. That is part of the design...

To error is human. my fault. Its ok, we didn't burn any witches.
So, the accented hair half is in a standard holder with the DuPont hologram ?
Someone typed the wrong # - And I wonder why I always check mine for errors

Those circles on the holder are ok. They seem to show up more visibly pronounced in photos than in-hand.

That hologram was introduced at Jan '14 FUN. It was used for all services, not just Secure Plus. It was phased out with the latest version.

The coin in it looks like a genuine cameo PR64 AH half, spots and all. I don't see any issue.
