Is this the 1st appearance or were 2016 cents given out earlier??

    So no more QR code on the reverse of the slab or is this just because it is a sample slab?

    I am fairly certain that the Quick Response (QR) code is omitted from Sample Slabs.

    Absence of the QR code didn't happen until Sample 13.3 - jeez, don't you guys read the sample threads?? image



    PCGS made a mistake recently and put a serial number on a sample that made it possible to add it to a registry set - they've tried to avoid that ever since.

    That S/N (30355307) shows up, but with a GENUINE (Code 80) moniker, it would not count for much if anything in a Registry set...or would it? image

    Are all shield cents encapsulated with the reverse side in front, or can obverse in front be requested?

    Overdate - The coin shield corresponds with the concept of the shield on the label - not sure if they would make a one off "error" on request, but worth looking out for.



    oih82w8 - it was an issue on an earlier sample slab, not this one.

    Lakesammman - not sure I understand your answer, virtually all shield Lincolns 2010 to date are encapsulated with reverse side in front, shield on label or no shield on label (see eBay listings). Why is this?
