Customers walk in. I tell them to shut up and sit down. Expecting civil obedience, I'm often flipped off... right before they walk out. Are people really THAT sensitive ?

I do not mind a quick chit chat, but it slays me when I am in a auto parts store in the middle of a transaction with 6 other employees standing around and the guy pulling my parts or ringing up the sale takes a call from someone checking prices on parts they may or may not need. IMO take a phone number and call them back. I am standing there with cash in hand
