RIP SCOTT NICHOLS

For those of you who knew him, longtime dealer and collector Scott Nichols of Ames, Iowa, passed away yesterday Friday, the 13th. He battled off and on with various health issues the last 10 years. In his last venture he ran Chester's Coin and Gifts in Ames with his son Kirk.

Rest in Peace old friend.

Condolences to Scott's family.

I found Chesters's Coins a few years ago and met Scott. He had just purchased a large collection of really nice Morgans and his excitement was refreshing. Because of his enthusiasm, I would always find my way to his shop when I was in the area. Scott always treated me with respect and he will be missed.
