I think his start prices are high enough that they don't lead to bidding wars, and his camera settings/lighting make the coins look weird, almost cartoon like. He has similar offerings to hocey who must've gotten a camera recently as his photos blow macs out of the water.
Many problem coins and inaccurate pictures for me. Just blow right by their listings now when I am browsing! Glad he brands his pictures so I don't waste a click!

That's my overall take as well. Just not worth the time to wade through the mass of problem or overpriced coins to find one or two worth bidding on.
I can tell you that he doesn't attribute his coins for varieties, and for that reason alone I have been quite happy with my purchases from him.

Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.

I cherrypicked AU 1913 type one buffalo nickel rare 2 1/2 feather abraded obverse die that is the obverse die that was coupled with the even rarer 3 /2 legs for 10 bucks. So I tend to look closely at his coins.

I literally just got a coin from him in today's mail. Have not opened it yet. I mostly buy gold, and all his gold is listed in the right category, PLUS bullion, which excludes it from ebay bucks and bonus offers. I messaged him letting him know he might get a little more money if he takes them out of the bullion category.

I've picked up a few nice coins from him over the years. But, I've also picked up some junk, so I am cautious when I buy from him.

Never heard of him.
Me neither. Sounds like a lovable but bumbling detective or something.
Who did that used to be?????
He's been under that name for as long as I can remember. I'm not certain it's ever changed.

I can see this to be the case. Kind of like a similar but smaller company compared to GS.
Many notches better than GS.

Why do so many people on Ebay pass up his coins?
Why is the OP saying people pass up his coins anyway?
