Their staple is corporate or general use presentation folders/binders. Their bulk sale business kills whatever numismatic related products they have. Whitman should take the reins and put together a great type album.
I have a Dansco dealer in my area. He says he has heard of an updated product coming out in the future with absolutely no release date. It's the best looking album on the market. Apparently they either don't know that or don't care about their customers. I mean there is only a few more holes the have to add. I know I sold a fairly used one recently for almost $100. That's a lot for an album. Look one bay all the time you might find one. Good luck
The Intercept Album does have a few "additions" that the 7070 does not have (yet); Lincoln 2010-Date Shield design, Jefferson 2006-Date Return to Monticello and the last page has the Lincoln Bicentennial and Jefferson Westward Journey coins. Not a bad album, but still needs updating. It is nice to have alternatives.
I will stick with the PCGS Virtual Albums, especially since (practically) all of my collection is housed in PCGS holders.

I also like these albums if you are doing a high grade US Typeset ...this allows you to be able to transport your typeset without lugging boxes of slabs around, easy viewing and gets rid of the need to crack coins out of holders and risk them getting damaged in albums.
I don't own one of these albums but I saw it for the first time at the Auburn MA coin show a few months back. A dealer had it on a table and it was full of slabs and it looks good and works great too.
oih82w8 is also right DNADave- there are a few additional holes for the intercept album, I was trying to say it was the same typeset, just more up-to-date...
We've all been waiting... what, 4 years now? ...for the updated 7070 to be released, along with other various things Dansco doesn't seem to care about. Most of my customers who wanted one have either bought a different brand, paying three digits for an outdated one or are improvising their own solutions, all of which cost Dansco (and us) sales. We've carried an almost full line of their albums since 1988 but frankly their independent, don't-give-a-rip attitude (along with a recent across the board price increase) makes us want to seriously consider paring down inventory and replacing them with a different line. It really stinks because it's a good product; people obviously like the albums, but for some reason the company acts like they don't really care that much about what customers want.

High quality, same holes as the Dansco 7070 and 1/2 the price for what a good condition 7070 goes for on eBay.
This is the next best type set album I have found; Intercept Shield US Type Set Album.

This is what I'm going with. Thank you.

Tempting to sell one of our 2 7070s right now to get in on the high prices......
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
I like the light brown that Dansco uses...aesthetically more pleasing to me than the darker green or whatever.

No kidding. I think my album may be worth more than the coins in it.
