Scam hunters: what's going on here?

eBay seller...chinacoin
They recently listed one of the gold Hudson SCDs that I collect. In very high grade. It's a very rare $3,000 to $4,000 coin and their auction images are just the NGC verification images.
Hudson SCD on eBay
A quick scan shows at least one other SCD that looks like it's just the NGC photos, too.
And one other coin I see has a watermark of another Chinese co.
It seems almost impossible that they really have these pieces in their inventory. But it also seems ridiculous that they could survive 8,000 feedback selling fakes or scams.

We are like children who look at print and see a serpent in the last letter but one, and a sword in the last.

Their past sold items are always located in Yan Tai, China - almost all
are world coins valued under $100.
So this one does not fit their normal business. Suspicion seems appropriate.
"All items were shipped from CHINA" if it looks like schit and smells like schit do you really need to taste it ?

Painting with a broad stroke there. Not all seller from China sell counterfeits and this looks to be one that don't. Reading from the store’s home he offer a Lifetime Guarantee.
I'm asking if you feel it's a scam, and if so, what kind of scammer has 8,000 positive feedbacks before offering coins via California, from China?

Many companies go rogue before they go belly up...think of some of the precious metals companies we have all talked about.
Just say'n.
Interesting to find out the truth.

Guys, I'm not saying I'm tempted in any way, shape, or form to bid on this piece. I don't believe he owns it. Even if he does, you'd have to be a few eggs short of a dozen to pay thousands for a coin whose only images are NGC's images.

If you bothered to click on that FB rating, you would see that from the link for user ID history that their screen name from December '98 to January 2000 was " liujian". I expect that is a proper surname for a chinese citizen/resident. Could be that this user has just hooked up with an emigrant/colleague who is providing the U.S. location for inclusion in the eBay listings. As for the images - simple enough to request the seller to show images of the coin over a current news publication with a recent date showing. If the news publication is printed in Cantonese or Mandarin it's a lock.

Jeff says that he did sell his piece a while back, so unless you have reason to think that this is a counterfeit So-Called Dollar in a counterfeit slab, this is it.
I don't have any reason to doubt that it's a real SCD in a real slab. What I doubt is that this seller actually owns the real SCD in the real slab.
Anyone can find those same images on NGC's website.
Which, incidentally, are copywrited and forbidden to copy.
So I reiterate: Why is an 8,000+ feedback eBay seller using bad and illegally-copied images to sell an esoteric piece worth several thousand dollars?

over and above all else about the seller and the coin being legitimate, an MS66 is only about a $1k medal.
LOL. No.
HK-371, NGC MS66, Heritage Feb 2014, $2820
HK371, NGC MS64, Heritage Last Month (03-2016), $2350
