eBay Seller battlefield0516

Hi All,

Just curious if anyone has had any experience with battlefield0516. It's sort of comical that 98.5% feedback rating makes one hesitate. I'm contemplating bidding on a few of his items, but don't know if he is fair on his condition assessment. If anyone has had experience with this seller, feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I got two words for you: don't bid.

All of their pics seem to be photoshopped to remove any minor blemishes that help to improve the quality of the card (and to create a higher end bid price for them). The fact that they do not add back scans of all their cards hurts too.

I made the mistake of bidding on one of their auctions for a card that I wanted to add to my collection. Their auction description stated that the card did not have any paper loss. After I won the auction and received the card, I found that there were several spots of paper loss on the back of the card.

To their credit, they did offer a refund when I sent the card back. I will not bid on any more of their auctions again.

I had one dealing with her on several cards. The cards I received didn't match the pictures. Some have accused her of doctoring the photos to make the corners appear sharp. I complained and she give a pretty good partial refund so I kept the cards. This has been a while back and in reading her feedback she may have improved some and stop using exaggerated words, like superb, pristine etc. All you can do is give her a try.

I've never bought from this seller but only heard negative things. Mainly that they alter the pictures to make them appear much better.

There is a bunch of stuff on this seller on the net54 forum as well!

I did buy a 1954 Topps Mays advertised as NM/MT that came back PSA 7. I also bought 3 other cards from them that came back trimmed. I would stay away.

I gambled last night and was high bidder on a Koufax rookie PSA 8. What are the odds she delivers and that the card is legit?

She just sold a psa 10 Henderson rookie in an older holder. Heritage sold the same serial number in the newest holder a couple months ago.

I bought a very nice looking 1933 Goudey Sport Kings Hubbell in a PSA 4 holder and paid a substantial premium because the card looked amazing. The seller had photoshopped a PSA 8 card over the actual card in the holder. That was my last time giving that seller the benefit of the doubt.

Nice. I figured that there was only so much embellishment a PSA 8 card needs but who knows what kind of games she may play. Obviously, if she doesn't deliver I will file a claim right away to get my money back. Her past history leaves little room for me to expect this to work out however. I tried to add the cert. to my set registry and it says it is owned by someone else so that is of course another red flag.

How does she sell the same Henderson in an older holder? Totally fake?

True to form one week later the card still has not been shipped. I suspect this seller fakes auctions of high dollar cards to increase her cash flow to buy large lots of raw cards. This has to be illegal but who is going to stop her?

    Why trust this seller?

Got a neg for this sale - person responded card was creased.

I'm amazed - with this FB and responses, people are sending some some serious coin!

I don't need to see the card in hand - note the seller says the card has "PERFECT CENTERING"

This person(s) is a real piece of work.

17k for the PSA 8 Bill Russell RC was VERY tempting.

The biggest lesson I've learned in this hobby, and in life, is that if you have a strong conviction, you owe it to yourself to see it through. Don't sell yourself, or your investments, short. Unless the facts change. Then sell it all.
