    When the Long Beach Show opens in February you will learn what the Quarterly C.C. Special is. Of course, if you want to know now, and you can read this web site and you can use your own thought process you will know what the Quarterly C.C Special is a lot sooner. Good luck. Steve

    Apparently you're in a different universe. The link at the bottom of the home page for Quarterly Specials takes me to a page that has some vague reference to a "Yearlong Special"

    What does Quarterly Special mean to you , Skip... er, Steve ?

    Of course, if TPTB are going to transform the Quarterly Special into just a "year long" special, it might be nice of them to just state so. image

    It shows a green special holder.
    Not exactly sure is that is a holding spot or the actual special?

    To commemorate our 30th Anniversary, PCGS will be offering a yearlong special label available to all PCGS Collector Club members and Authorized Dealers.

    Its pretty underwhelming if some gimmicky slab inserts are replacing actual deals/specials.... I got sick of waiting for the CC to be updated so I just submitted a batch. I think that this "yearlong special" is the only thing going to be available or else they would have updated it. image

    I was told that these new green label isn't free. You need to pay extra (not sure how much, please comment) on top of the regular grading fee, but you will get a green box too.

    I got one, it was $7 on top of heading fee. I Think the green box was only for the lb show...my box was the standard blue.

    Yeah it didn't seem like much of a special to me - the ability to buy green inserts just like everybody else image

    They should honor the $10 Crossover like they did at Long Beach...wanna wager it will be in effect at Vegas?

    While Long Beach, Baltimore, and FUN are some of the BIG ones, PCGS should have the $10 Crossover Special wherever they attend for on-site grading.

    The $10 crossover special on all submissions was the best special ever and I would like to see that again.

    Always heard "buy the coin, not the holder (label)".
    Not much of a quarterly special. Kind of takes away a perk of being a collector's club member.
    The impossible just takes longer.

    You may have always heard that (and I agree with it), but there are enough threads/posts around here that you know it isn't true for a good number of folks.

    "Rare" labels, old labels, gimmick labels, etc.



    Yeah....not a quarterly I see myself using

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
