Can you get banned for not logging in for a long time?? I just tried and it said I was banned, but for no specific reason.

    I just logged in after being away for a couple years... no issues (You last visited: 02-03-2013 at 11:20 PM). It's going to take me days to catch up! :-D

    I think Leon asks for contact info, if you don't provide it I believe he bans you.

    Leon actually has a new thread on 54 saying he just needs your user ID, first and last name and a contact number, and would then activate you

    I can't contact him unless I log in, which it won't let me do. I believe someone here was going to contact him with that info.

    I applied with my name, phone number, contact info etc and was rejected within 4 hrs. There was an unknown missed call on my phone without a message. And I have perfect references, feedback, known by many in the community.

    I know.... I might have approved him this morning already but if not just tell him to email me. I usually get those attended to quickly... Most times either they don't send back the email with contact info or it goes to someone's spam folder. I found one in there this morning.     I have a similar problem. I can logon to net54, but I don't have permissions to post, or view pictures people post. Never have been able to figure this out, and email to them never returned....same ID, mb2005

    I had the same problem. You need to contact Leon so he can approve your account before you are able to post.

    I am one of the 286,239 banned members out of what is listed as Membership on the site: Members: 290,858, Active Members: 4,619



    Joined once a couple years ago. Joined in on an autograph thread and posted how I'm a true believer in that 75% of ALL sports autographed are fakes.... and within minutes, was gone ! image Must have been in the minority.



    That place frightens and confuses me.

    If you give an opinion of a person or company your full name needs to be in your post.

    The urbandictionary.com definition of SICK aligns with DB. I can no longer contest it. I still don't have to like it though. Also, I agree with Dr. P above, at least as far as me owning autographs. If not in person, it's a shot in the dark no matter what. Dr P also likes the urban dictionary definition of SICK. #3 definition with sub example number 3, he wrote.

    In the past on Net54 there have been treads where I believe lawsuits have been threatened over slanderous comments so Leon requires posters to have their full name along with their username. So for all the trolls and people who want to make comments anonymously, NET54 is NOT the place for you!

    You have to work at getting banned on 54. And if all you do is post about cards and the hobby you can remain anonymous . If you give opinions about a person or company you have to have your name out there in posts. Leon does require some info to register folks, just to be sure you are who you say you are. But that info is not public

    Politics and Religion are off limits, but any hobby topic of any kind is fair game

    Email Leon directly. His email is on the top banner of the website. I've heard before that since he has to filter through so many fake signups he sometimes misses legitimate ones in the mix. Considering it's content, quaility of material on the B/S/T, and knowledge on the board it really is unrivaled. (Apologies to watching CU lord.)
