A Rare WLH Auction Event

JBNJBN Posts: 1,996 ✭✭✭✭✭
Wow. What a nice WLH.

Will be interesting to watch at auction at LRCA.

Here is link to PCGS cert verification:

1942 PR66CAM

It would be interesting to see this coin next to a modern American Silver Eagle proof example.

Congratulations in advance to whoever the new owner is next month.

I'm not really a proof collector per se but that is just beautiful!

    Amazing and super rare.

I will certainly be interested to see what it sells for, esp. in this current market.

    Thanks for the heads up.

That is a beauty and a rarity.

Would love to see more pics of this Walker.

If I owned a white coin that was designated as CAM or DCAM, I would more than likely want a CAM or DCAM type of photo in order to show off that attribution. Maybe it is just me though?

Not really looking for much these days but if I were, it might be a toner.

I saw this too, very cool. I have never seen a proof walker in CAM before.

The LRCA lot photos do a better job.

No, it is not just you. I have said that for years about the way that TrueViews are completely blasted with light, ruining any chance of seeing cameo contrast on proofs. I think Phill will take multiple shots if the submitter insists on a certain look, but the "default" seems to be this blown out look.

A very nice coin. The sun is the key that makes these so uncommon.
