I see many coins up for sale in auctions and elsewhere as labeled "ex Simpson". Is Simpson still an active buyer and collector? Has he just changed focus of his collecting ?

Both Laura and Heritage have made it very clear that Simpson is still a buyer for the right things, and that he is refocusing. Too bad. I was hoping for a nice little pattern auction.

I wonder if he was in my neighborhood buying something recently. The Texas Ranger's private jet landed and was parked at the local private airport here in the Finger Lakes region last week.

Ain't that the truth. There are prolly no less than a dozen 3+ million dollar "summer" homes here on Canandaigua Lake.
