Have you ever tried to cross those PCI coins to PCGS?...even at lower grades?

Yes, years back I used to crack them out and send them in raw. I also had a bunch that toned in the after market year holders. I had a killer set, then I had a different investment opportunity come along that I had to sell them.
I have noticed that not many are left in the old PCI holders so for now I will leave them as is. I have a bunch more and will image them soon.
I had more but cant seem to find the pics now

Have had 100% success rate submitting PCI holdered Silver Eagle Toners in their original holders. Most come back 67 or 68, but the value is in the color.

We had a PCI toned ASE recently and foolishly cracked it out and sent it to NGC. Came back AT. We went ahead and listed it in the AT holder and just called it NT. Lesson learned - next time send to PCGS for crossover.

Cracked mine and sold RAW for better money than what they cost in PCI holders.

I only have one and I've had thoughts of sending in for cross, but as you mention I kinda' like the PCI holder.

Stefanie, Thoise are some amazing toners and you did a great job of capturing their beauty with your new camera. And I especially thank you for sharing the difficulty in composing anything on the new PCGS site that contains pictures. Doesn't work particularily well when there are no pictures, either. PCGS got screwed by their new web site developer, and I think that is becoming well known.
