Anyone know what year Littleton sold these graded flips?

  I recently got their junk mail with the BU cent in it for about the third time in 6 months. Usually I tear it all up and throw it away and toss the coin in my change box for drive thrus. This time I put it in a 2x2 and gave to grandson bc it was his birth year.
  
  
  
  It looks like one of their approvals. Considering this issue is about a $600 coin in MS65 I would have to say quite awhile back.

  Well it was typed on a typewriter so as word processors took over in the late 1980's it's probably about 25 years old.

  I believe that they used the Littleton Rate Coins name from the late 70's to the early 80s and then driopped it.
