The mint is having a free budget shipping deal right now.

Unless you have a subscription.

I got charged $4.95 shipping for my Saratoga 5oz puck. Upon querying the mint, the response was:

Unfortunately, Gift Certificates and Enrollments do not qualify for the Free Shipping on orders over $100.

sigh. I could understand if I was still getting a discount on a subscription, but I'm not. I'm paying the same amount as those who ordered online.

Yeah, I know, it's only $4.95, but I needed to vent.

I canceled my 5 oz. subscription when they took away the discount.

Thats comical. Lets reward random purchasers but the guys that have a sub with us, screw em cause they are buying it anyways! Just noticed that I didnt get the 4.95 break either, bummer.

And on top of not rewarding subscription customers loyalty and guaranteed product sale, they also don't offer any shipping choice. The $4.95 budget shipping is used with no place to select another method. For a lot of customers this means Stupid Post and up to three weeks in transit with a some times silly route.
