1958 Mint Set Question

Did the Mint Sets from 1958 come with green paper backing? TIA.

yep a green kinds of dark green

make sure they are not put together sets. some are hard to tell but a nice original set is kinda of pricey!

Thanks. I bought a set that has tan colored paper that isn't attached to the set. The coins all look toned similar but I'm not 100% sure it is original.

Most are green. I could not say all were issued that way. I sometimes run across 1953 and 1956-58 sets in the "wrong" color for the year and was never sure if It was a packaging anomaly or a put together set.

There are some weird ones out there, like the 56 sets that are a MUCH deeper shade of pink than the norm.

Mine is green, and is in much better shape than the treasury envelope. The paper is attached to the holders.

I've seen it both ways, including in what I am very reasonably sure were 100% previously unopened (ie...original) sets.
