    Real nice!

I'm thinking at least an au58.

I could be swayed in the 55-58 crowd.

    Nice looking coin!

I do my best to be objective about it. The coin does have good, not spectacular, luster. I want to refrain from making any grading opinions because I want objective opinions but I really like this coin. In my experience with 20 cents (which is limited) they can be pretty deceptively hard to grade in that AU/MS grade. I have what I call my the "3 Second Test" where you look at a coin real quick and make a grade. In that regard I have seen AU coins that look solid MS and have seen high MS coins look AU.

As I said I do not have a ton of experience grading these as I do not come across them that often but this is one of my favorite series and IMO seriously underrated.

    Nice strike.

The coin is probably a 55 or 58 based on the images.

    Well done!

Nice coin but it isn't new. In fact, it appears to be about 140 years old. image

Very underrated. Most double dimes aren't terribly hard to find, but they're difficult to find in attractive condition. Post a better photo when you can.

That's what a "white coin" of that age and condition should look like... very nice.
