1871 IHC, FS-301, URS-3.........Really?? Opinions?

In the new Cherrypicker guide, the 1871 variety with the 7 and 1 touching is newly listed. They call it a URS-3 variety with few discovered since mentioned in Breen's 1977 book. Can someone chime in on this variety please. And help me with attributing the IHC pictured below, which I believe is this variety. Sorry pics are bad!! Very bad!

generation 4 & 5 smart camera phones can be had inexpensively ($30-100) and take good images and once the settings are optimized for coins, you're set.

.
There is a Snow-2 listed as a business strike, additional PUP: heavy die file mark sticks out of denticles above E in united and light re punching of the 1 visible above the base only.
There is also a bold N proof with 2 obverse dies. The 2nd die is shared with the above business strike, but... They have the 1-8-7 farther apart than your pics show.
How are the rims? It could be the other proof dies that aren't 1-8-7 far apart. I'm sure Rick will be by shortly

Thanks Mr. Snow. Have you handled many over the years?
