Is anyone else having trouble with Ebay pics???

FlatwoodsFlatwoods Posts: 4,270 ✭✭✭✭✭
I always attach large pics in the description by copying the Photobucket HTML code.
Never had a problem before but for the last two weeks, I can't get them to work.
They show up when previewing the listing but after listing nothing.
I have tried reloading the pics to photobucket and messing around with the code in the listing.
I have deleted and relisted several times. Still no luck.

Someone please tell me what the heck is going on.

eBay? That thing is still around? It used to be an auction site from what I remember.

Kinda like how MTV used to play videos. image

Probably Photobuket I use it for background image under description and find it missing in my listings sometimes.
I quit using large image embedding when eBay improved their image quality. Just list the large image to eBay images now.

If I had a 1913 V Nickel for every time ebay screwed me, I'd have at least 5,000 counterfeit 1913 V Nickels. My pictures suck and I'm the only guy I know who gives himself YOU SUCKS there.

I agree with that statement. Unfortunately there is no viable alternative at the moment.

    .
    people still use photobummm something.

was it a crappy, unreliable and ridiculously over-complicated image hosting site?

i think i used it for 2 weeks, 10 years ago. then i discovered ftp and life was good again. image

It's not difficult to upload your pics from your own PC, or phone , or tablet, or camera with the right peripherals. Why go to a web hosting site when ebay is that site ? Or are you using more than 12 photos ? Simplify. Bypass the hosting site.
